It's not much of a kit to begin with; it's only 2 items.

First off, you should skip the overpriced canon batteries and charger altogether.Canon doesn't have a patent on NiMH batteries.Older Canon manuals seemed to indicate that you have to use Canon rechargeables, but that's simply not true.While NiMH batteries are a definite must for battery hungry digital cameras, there are better options out there which are completely compatible with your camera.

For half the price of this kit you can get a charger and batteries that charge in as little as 15 minutes, and have a higher mAh rating.I'd recommend the Energizer 15 minute kit.

The canon case is quality, and an excellent choice for your camera.A case is not something you should cheap out on: it is an absolute necessity.

However, when this case is available separately for less than ten dollars (currently $6.39!) on amazon, you should really just buy it separately and choose a better charger.

(More customer reviews)i looked all over for this item and when i found them on amazon i was thrilled and immediately ordered it.now i am completely unhappy and disappointed with the product.it doesn't hold a charge.i've charged the batteries for the specified time and put them in my camera 4 different times.the charge holds for 10 minutes tops.maybe it's defective, i don't know.i continue to buy the throwaway batteries which work well.i would not recommend this product to anyone.a waste of money.

(More customer reviews)The battery charger and batteries are functional.The camera case, however, is practically useless.The camera barely fits in it, especially with the neck strap.There is no room for extra batteries and the case does not have its own neck strap, only a belt loop.Definitely a disappointment and not recommended for the Canon S2IS.

(More customer reviews)I really like the camera bag that came with this kit though I would prefer a little more room so I could store extra batteries, digital media cards, and the USB cord all in the pocket. The kit came with a charging base and a couple of rechargable batteries also. I would have prefered that it come with the power cord for the camera also, this would save more in the long run when it comes to battery time. You use more battery power when uploading pictures than any other time. All in all it was a great buy.

(More customer reviews)I bought this item believing that I would be able to use ALL the eight batteries with the camera it was suggested by this site, the Nikon 100. it doesn't. Only 4 of the 8 batteries worked and the other four don't even get any lights to go on. Interesting Amazon getting this kind of bad publicity!!!
The price is cheap, but I would have paid more in order to have the 8 batteries set, and not all theother items that only really take space. Wasteful move.

Case is so big that I can put camera, batterycharger, set of batteries, all the cables, memorycards and cd roms in it. It's diveded into 2 parts. There is no pockets which is big minus. There is 2 pockets outside of bag, but without zipper. Case is padded so camera is protected. I bought another case where is room only for camera, few sets of batteries end memorycards and that I usually carry along. But this I use to carry all other stuff. For this price it's good purchase. Dimensions from inside are something like, W16cm x 14cm , H13cm. Quality is good.

Battery charger and batteries are good. Battery charger is for US but it includes adapter so you can use it in Europe. There is LED light that shows the state of the batteries. Red is when charging and green when it's ready.

I put them into my Nikon L100 coolpix camera. But I have still seen the battery low sign on my camera screen. This is terrible feeling after paying to much to a couple of battery. I dont recommend you to buy this item. Maybe you are wondering how you will solve the battery problem of this camera model.I have bought 3x4 battery sets for this camera till now.. but still couldnt find the solution. Unfortunately, I still didnt find out the answer of this question either!. Hate you NIKON!
